Grape variety 100% Tempranillo
With high quality grapes from the Tempranillo variety we elaborate this wine following almost the same methodology as in our young red wines. After finishing the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is introduced into new (first use) American oak barrels where malolactic fermentation is done in the presence of its fine wine lees which must be moved regularly (Batonnye).
After deciding the best maturity moment, the wine is stabilised and bottled.
Colour Deep red colour with violet shades, thick.
Nose Intense aroma of red fruits enhanced by aging into new oak barrels (vanilla, coconut...).
Taste Powerful and fruity wine, fleshy, structured, with a long finish and nice aftertaste which express the contribution of the new oak.
Food pairing This wine is particularly recommended for cure ham, roast lamb, game meat, all kind of stews, grilled vegetables and semi-cured cheese.
